Subject: re: Product Updates? Author: OmarV (10:56AM, May 06, 2009) Standalone iCast transmitters that we are shipping at this time have charging capability with all iPhone and iPod models. This change occurred in January. We were recently approved by Apple for the Works With iPhone (WWi) certification, however that iCast product will not be available until mid summer. The only difference between the two will be that the current version will get the “This product was not designed for iPhone” message, while the later version will not. They are both charging the iPhone but Apple’s authentication chip will be incorporated in the later model.“

Could you please elaborate on the "Apple WWi" thing abit? Seems it must be something more than just a message difference between your current and "certified" product... Thanks, Bob |

Subject: re: Product Updates? Author: OmarV (04:37PM, Aug 11, 2009) Bob, our wwi iCast TX has been approved by apple and passed all the required tests. We already got some pilot run units and it's looking good. We should be able to start mass production this month; however I don't have information regarding availability to the public yet. We will let the community know as soon as we have this information.
