Subject: Outcast and Apple Airport Express Author: TedH (05:56AM, Jul 01, 2009) My Outcast is awesome -- superb.
In lieu of using the Soundcast UAT, I want to use my Airport Express to stream radio via iTunes or play a CD. When I connect my Airport Express directly to the Outcast speaker via a mini-jack cable, it works fine but limits the portability of the speaker because power is required for the Airport Express. When I connect the Airport Express to the input jack on the rear of the Outcast Transmitter, I hear sound for about 1/2 second and then nothing. However, both blue lights on the Outcast and transmitter remain lit. Is this an issue because the Airport Express doesn't have an amplified output? Thanks, and thanks for a great product!! Ted |

Thanks for the great and quick response! Ted |
