Subject: Two UATs connected to same PC? Author: ScottM (10:29AM, Sep 30, 2009) I didn't see this question addressed specifically in the installation guide for the UAT. I understand via channel selection, you can have two SoundCast systems working independently of each other (eg two UATs and two SpeakerCasts) to get a multi-room audio setup. However, what if you want to connect the SpeakerCasts to the same pc (music library)? Will media player software work properly with two UAT's connected via USB to the pc? Can you get independent music streamed to both UAT's if say Win Media Player and iTunes were both running (ie WMP to UAT#1 and iTunes to UAT#2)?

What you can do is simply connect 1 UAT and set both of your SpeakerCasts to the channel that UAT is transmitting on. You can actually transmit the same material up to 3 receivers (in this case SpeakerCasts). It is not possible to create 2 different audio streams with different music.
