Soundcast Systems understands that security and privacy are primary concerns to our online customers. At Soundcast, we utilize a variety of measures to maintain the integrity of personal information, including encryption technology to facilitate the transmission of your information on all our secure web pages.

Encryption

Soundcast Systems only accepts orders from browsers that communicate through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, which provides a secure environment for up to 128-bit key length encryption when transmitting your information. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 128-bit) encryption scrambles your personal and credit card information as it travels over the Internet during the checkout process. This encryption makes it impossible for anyone to read your information in transit. Also, No personal or financial details are left unencrypted on a remote server, and such details are never sent by e-mail.

Digital Security

Personal information on the Soundcast System site has been secured with a digital security technology provided by Verisign. A Verisign "site certificate" icon appears on all the secure pages of the site, which is every page of the Soundcast site.

To view the site certificate, click on the image of the closed lock or the solid key on the bottom bar of your browser window. A small frame displaying site security information will appear. If you are using Internet Explorer, click on the word "Subject" to verify that you are on SoundcastSystems.com. Click on "Issuer" to verify the site certification authority. If you are using Netscape, click on "View Certificate" to see information on the subject and issuer.

Protection from Identity Theft & Credit Card Fraud

The Soundcast System site is tested and certified daily to pass the "McAfee SECURE" Security Scan. The site meets McAfee's SECURE standard.

McAfee SECURE sites help protect you from identity theft and credit card fraud. McAfee's SECURE certification is the only security scanning technology recognized to meet both the U.S. government's FBI/SANS security test and the security standards of all major credit card companies.

McAfee SECURE certification is achieved by passing rigorous daily network security audits. The certification process is completed in six steps. The first three steps are the vulnerability audit itself; comprised of Dynamic Port Scanning, Port-level Network Services Vulnerability Testing, and Web Application Vulnerability Testing. The fourth and fifth steps are alerts whenever vulnerabilities are detected and remediation management using our extensive vulnerability management portal. The result is highly effective, pro-active security.
